Leave Library

Companies recognize the important connection between personal life and work life.  As such, most companies offer employees the opportunity to take time away from work when necessary.  Time away from work may come in the form of either a leave of absence (either paid or unpaid) or paid time off.

Many companies are also subject to the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA).  FMLA provides certain employees with up to 12 weeks of unpaid, job-protected leave per year.  It also requires that the employees’ group health benefits be maintained during the leave.

This Leave Library contains policy samples and other important documents regarding legally mandated leave and additional paid leave practices.
