WARN Act Summary

The WARN Act requires employers to notify employees at least 60 days in advance of any mass layoff or facility closings that impact a significant number of jobs.  This document is published by the Federal Government for public use as a summary of the guidelines, provisions, and employer responsibilities put into action with the WARN Act.
